Tower Hill Barns
Tower Hill Barns is a family run wedding and events venue oozing beauty and rustic charm. A magical location set on a backdrop of rolling hills in North Wales, a true hidden gem.
Our brief was to create a new brand which conveyed this sense of history, occasion and grandeur, even before guests have stepped inside. To capture the stylish majesty of Tower Hill Barns and to convey its fairy-tale-like character. The owners approached us with high expectations. Their objectives were to create a new visual branding, increase their website traffic, architecture and content, as well as improve their conversion rate in terms of website visitors to confirmed bookings.
Over the years, elements had been added to their old website, which made the user experience cumbersome and unintuitive. With that in mind, we agreed that a complete redesign of content architecture was essential. Previously, Tower Hill Barns had also commisioned a variety of photographers, which led to stylistic inconsistency of their branding materials, and digital channels. We were tasked with developing a new suite of photography that would fit all marketing purposes and reflect the character of the venue and its aura of romantic, luxurious grandeur.
Our task was to modernise Tower Hill Barns brand identity and web presence to reflect the different areas of the business, while showing off the venue itself as one of the North Wales leading wedding venues. Our aim was to help increase bookings for potential weddings, corporate events, birthdays, anniversaries and course family get togethers.
Working closely with Tower Hill Barn was key in the development of this versatile marketing project where the main goal was to directly address their business needs. What better way to do so than by igniting the imaginations of potential visitors, with an enhanced user experience around the website with ample, yet carefully crafted, content and photography.
The re-imagined brand needed to convey the intricacies and beauty this historic venue has to offer potential guests. We presented the Tower Hill Barns Team with a clear vision and strategy – to revitalise their promotional material and online marketing channels by introducing a brand new bespoke design and to boost the visibility of the venue. Our brand rejuvenation journey started with a thorough analysis of their existing website behaviour – who were the targeted customers and what were their needs.
After extensive research into the way the business worked, we conducted interviews with various members of the team. The results threw up some fascinating insights, giving us a platform on which to devise a brand strategy for growth. Once we had established a clear brand positioning, the focus was on a more modern approach to communications. The new brand identity was applied across all channels of communication, raising the profile of the venue and providing it with a greater sense of identity.
Our team devised a simplified and more intelligent navigation structure for the website, helping to highlight the different areas of the business. This is supported by carefully selected photography and information about the venue and it’s offerings, highlighting the rustic charm and beautiful surroundings. The clever use of photographical navigation to complement the primary and secondary navigation for deeper internal pages, allows both flexibility for the client while always displaying the best content for the end user. Throughout the site, we then implemented widespread, bold calls-to-action, ensuring that as user reaches the point of enquiry, they know exactly where to look. Our primary aim was to take visitors on an emotive journey, to feel an affinity with Tower Hill Barns as the perfect wedding venue, business event or special occasion.
Our responsive solution allows visitors to browse through the sites content and image galleries on any device with ease. Like all our websites, the fully responsive solution we developed for Tower Hill Barns is powered by a WordPress CMS. This allows them to update every aspect of the website to keep content fresh and relevant.
The spirit of the venue is apparent at every turn, and through a considered balance between user journey and visual design, we have achieved a website that is not only faithful to the brand, but effective in conversion.
